The UK federation was launched in November 2006, to provide a single solution for organisations to access online resources.
With membership of the UK federation now growing rapidly, the aim of this event is to now support organisations and help them progress towards implementation.
The format of the event will be a mix of briefings and small discussion groups. The groups will identify and discuss the challenges for participation in the federation, the options available to organisations and what steps they need to take to progress further. It is hoped that this will give attendees the chance to address issues relevant to their particular organisations; the outcomes of the discussions will be relayed to the wider group for further consideration.
In order to achieve the maximum benefit for this event, numbers are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Further regional events may be rolled out later in the year.
Booking
This event is only open to delegates from JANET connected sites. There is no fee to attend on this occasion. Please book your place using the online booking form. You should receive a confirmation of your place via e-mail within 5 working days of successfully submitting your online booking. Cancellation
If you are unable to attend then feel free to send a replacement but please notify the Events Co-ordinator at JANET(UK) of the name of the replacement.
