The Bandwidth Management Advisory Service (BMAS) provides free advice and guidance to client institutions to help maximise the efficiency of their bandwidth resources including both the JANET connection and inter-site links.
A wide range of information is published on this web site on the use of bandwidth management technologies together with reports on trials and evaluations of relevant products.
Aims
BMAS service focusses on providing advice in using tools and methods in three areas, as follows:
