JANET Talk Trial

JANET Talk has been rolled out on a trial basis to determine that user requirements are met; to validate the initial service model that has been defined and to understand how this powerful tool can play a part in the IT strategies of JANET connected sites.

The Trial was launched in August 2008. It comprises of over one hundred JANET connected organisations, deploying a maximum of one hundred JANET Talk clients each.

As a part of the trial, we will provide news, information and reviews from the sites participating in the trial. Please check back regularly for updates!

Taking Part

We hope to hold a second call for participation in the JANET Talk trial in early 2009. Details of how to apply will be posted here closer to the time.

To help sites better understand how JANET Talk could be of benefit to them, we have created some example uses for the JANET Talk application.
