FUNDING FOR INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION ACTIVITIES

Funds are available to support small-scale, relatively short-term activities to encourage the JANET community to get involved in collaborative work within the international community.

The work would need to be relevant to the JANET development programme, but funding could be allocated for a number of activities.  For example, it could be used to support the cost of a visit and/or presentation of a paper at an international event or meeting by a member of the JANET community who has worked in a relevant area.

How to get involved

If you are interested in exploring this opportunity please contact the International Collaboration Group to submit a proposal. JANET(UK) would expect a brief proposal (300-500 word) submitted by e-mail which includes:

  • A brief outline of the activity/project
  • How the proposal links to the JANET development programme
  • A summary of the funding applied for including a total figure

In most cases a decision is likely to be made within 2 weeks of submitting a proposal.
